Guidelines for Abstract Submission
The call for abstracts is open for Karnataka Physiocon 2025

Greetings from the Scientific Committee!

We are pleased to inform you that the conference proceedings will be compiled into an abstract book, published with an ISBN by Iterative International Publishers (IIP). 
The best-quality abstracts (Paper/ Poster) which was submitted to the Karnataka Physiocon 2025, will be selected based on peer reviewer comments, similarity index and research methodology.

Abstracts are invited that:

  • Report on the latest original scientific research/ review [that includessystematic/scoping/narrative reviews and meta-analyses] / special interest reports / case studies conducted by the Primary Authors
  • Submissions with pending results, study protocols, previously presented or published work will not be accepted.
  • The Scoping review / Systematic Review – Meta Analysis / Narrative review/ Literature review will be only considered for the Poster Presentation.

Format:

  • Abstract Text: The total word count should not exceed 300 words
  • Font Style: Times New Roman
  • Title of the abstract: Should be brief, must be no more than 15 words [font size-14 (BOLD)]
  • The abstract must include clearly defined sections as follows: Introduction, Aim and Objective/s, Methods, Results, Conclusion and clinical Relevance[Font size-12]
  • Keywords: Not more than 5 [MeSH terms]
  • Abstracts should be submitted only in MS word / .pdf format
  • Kindly provide the following details along with the abstract:
    • Full author names & affiliations along with email id
    • Name of the primary / presenting author
    • Kindly mention category number [Check below for the categories]
    • Attach the Similarity Index [percentage] report.
    • Note: Abstracts similarity Index should be ≤15%
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all the co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to the submission and Conflict of interest must be disclosed by all the authors.

 

Selection Criteria

  • All submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed by a panel of reviewers. Accepted abstract will be allocated in the relevant session/s. This review process allows for a fair and equitable process, building the integrity of the conference.
  • Only the first three authors of the selected abstracts will be provided certificates.
